Airplane Quilt

This quilt is a custom made quilt for a family member for a new baby boy. They picked out all the fabric, the pattern used, and the colors of the binding and the ties. Hopefully the people receiving this quilt will love it and get many years of use from it.

Another Quilt

I finished another quilt last week, this one is for a little boy that is not born yet. Hopefully he and his parents love it! This is the first quilt that I did the "proper way" I guess you would call it and I stitched the binding to the back by hand... it took 6 hours alone just to do that. I love making things or this would so not be worth it. Its not as wonky as it looks in the pictures, it is actually quite strait which surprised me because as I was making it I thought it was going to be very wonky. And comments are greatly appreciated! Even constructive criticism is welcome :)

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my Moms birthday, I made her a gluten free cake (so that she could share it with Aleric) and I spent a few weeks working on a quilt for her new chair. This is the first quilt I have made so there are a few small flaws and im sure that all of the quilting pros would laugh at me but I am very proud of myself. Now lets get to the pictures!
This is the front of the quilt:

And the back of the quilt, I really like how the flowers look like the ones from the top are falling and forming the ones on the bottom:

Close up of the stitching, I used the coolest multi color thread I LOVE this thread, if I had a million dollars I would buy every color they make!

And lastly just a picture of the quilt a little closer up:
